Things to Do in The Netherlands: Where to Start?
This is undoubtedly one of our favourite countries in Europe. It could be because of the good time we had in Amsterdam, or else because of the positive experience of the trip in general. It is one of the bike friendliest countries in Europe, Amsterdam alone having around 900,000 bikes. Bike lanes are all around the Netherlands, which by the way is deemed as offensive (and waaay too dangerous) to walk on them.

In the Netherlands, all new friendships or relationships start with a handshake. The rules for it are very simple. The Dutch donโt differentiate between men and woman, old and young. It’s a great sign of respect!
Amsterdam was the focal point of our trip in the Netherlands. It was indeed amazing, but within the time we had there, we managed to squeeze in three day trips from the capital city. Check all of the content below about the best things to do in the Netherlands on a budget.
