Where to Go in Denmark on a Budget?
Where to go in Denmark on your first visit? Ever heard of Aars? Naah, neither had we, until last year, when our favourite music group Italobrothers announced a party in this small town at the very northern part of Denmark. We checked the dates and luckily, flights were at their cheapest. The thing was that the Airport is in Billund – 150km south of Aars.
First stop was in Aarhus. The city is beautiful to visit and we were amazed with the number of activities and attractions. It’s a shame we barely had a day to explore.
The plan was to arrive in Aars at around noon. We had breakfast and we set off on a 3-hour journey from Aarhus. Plenty of time to get ready for the highlight of our trip – The Italobrothers Party! Was it worth it covering over 2,300Km from Malta?
The MCH Arena is home to Danish football giants FC Midtjylland. The club is one of the most successful in Denmark, despite being founded only in 1999.
